Here’s what we know (or can assume) so far: It is a POP watch The movement based on the Swatch caliber Sistem51 Caliber Corner’s Prediction: There is a lot of speculation going around on social media, and since most of the slop peddling “influencers” can’t think independently without the use of Al assistance, here is what I think the Swatch x AP Royal POP movement will be based on observation and critical thinking skills: A manual-wind variation of the Sistem51 A true no-date (the Blancpain no-dates had phantom date position) No hacking seconds Hacking seconds (based on the end of the video, it actually looks like they may have added hacking seconds to the new caliber) 17 jewels It’s probably the same 19 (this has been confirmed) Bioceramic/plastic case (they don’t seem to have mentioned this in the teasers yet, but it’s to be expected) Highly speculative wild card guesses: 2-hander with no central seconds hand (if it is a pocket watch inspired by vintage Audemars Piguet pocket watches) Small seconds subdial at 6:00 (based on the video, and if it is a pocket watch inspired design) The above two points are unlikely because being a mechanical movement, they probably want to show the sweeping seconds
